Bilateral meeting between Mr. SOK Chenda Sophea, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Mrs. Baiba Braže, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia

On 24 September 2024, Mr. SOK Chenda Sophea, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, had a bilateral meeting with Mrs. Baiba Braže, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia, during the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly at the United Nations headquarters in New York.

Both sides exchanged views on how to further enhance bilateral relations between Cambodia and Latvia and explore opportunities for cooperation in potential sectors of mutual interest. The two foreign ministers also discussed cooperation under multilateral frameworks and regional and international issues of common interests and concerns.

Mrs. Baiba Braže expressed appreciation to the Deputy Prime Minister for the opportunity to meet and look forward to enhancing cooperation between the two countries.
